QuickBooks Online Integration
DSD MGMT, LLC operates a private, internal software integration with QuickBooks Online. The integration connects to QuickBooks company files that we own and administer, through Intuit's API, to support our internal accounting and financial operations.
This integration is not a public product. It is not offered, sold, or distributed to outside customers, and it is not available for connection by the general public. Access is limited to our authorized personnel.
What the integration does
Operating under the QuickBooks Online accounting scope, the integration reads and writes accounting records in our own company files. Typical operations include exporting chart-of-accounts, general-ledger, transaction, and list data for internal reporting, and posting reviewed entries back into QuickBooks.
Who can use it
Only personnel we have authorized. If you are an authorized user and need access, contact us at the address below.
Connecting a QuickBooks company
You must be an authorized user, signed in to the QuickBooks Online company you intend to connect, with the internal integration tool installed on your workstation.
1. Start the integration tool and choose the authorization option.
2. The tool opens Intuit's standard OAuth 2.0 authorization page in your browser.
3. Sign in to Intuit if prompted, select the QuickBooks company you want to connect, and approve the requested access.
4. Intuit returns you to the tool, which stores the authorization for that company.
Each QuickBooks company is authorized separately and holds its own connection.
Reconnecting
Reconnecting follows the same steps. Run the authorization again for the affected company and approve the access request. Reconnecting replaces the prior authorization for that company.
You may need to reconnect if the authorization was revoked from the Intuit side, if it expired after a long period without use, or if the access we request changes.
If you are not yet an authorized user, or you are unable to complete the authorization, contact us before retrying.
Disconnecting
A connected company can be disconnected at any time, from either side.
From Intuit: sign in to the QuickBooks Online company, open the apps or connected-apps settings, find this integration, and remove its authorization.
From our side: contact us at the address below and we will revoke the stored authorization for that company.
Either action ends the connection. Once a company is disconnected, the integration no longer has access to that company file and will not read or write any of its data. The license granted under our End User License Agreement and Terms of Service ends with respect to that company.
What happens to data already processed
Data previously exported from QuickBooks may remain in our internal accounting and reporting records, as described in our Privacy Policy. Disconnecting stops any further access; it does not by itself delete records we have already created. If you want previously exported data addressed, contact us.
